Effective March 27, 2008 Chateau Sonesta will be a smoke free hotel.

The Chateau Sonesta offers moderate to expensive accommodations in the heart of the French Quarter. Bordered on one side by Bourbon Street, this hotel's elegant interiors convey a sense of calm in this lively, festive neighborhood. Recreational facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, fitness room, and several courtyard areas.

Chatelaine is the hotel's breakfast restaurant. For lunch or dinner, the hotel houses the popular Red Fish Grill. The Clock Bar offers a lively spot for evening cocktails and entertainment. In the surrounding area, guests won't want for dining and entertainment options. The French Quarter offers plenty of both.

Guest services include a cash machine, concierge, gift shop, business center, 10 meeting rooms, and parking for a daily fee. Guests will be able to walk to Bourbon Street bars and clubs, the French Quarter Market, and Canal Street attractions. The airport is approximately 14 miles from the hotel.
