- All Walt Disney World Resort hotels are smoke-free. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor smoking locations only.
- Disney's Magical Express Service is another benefit to staying at an on-site Disney Resort hotel. Buses take guests from the Orlando International Airport to the Disney Resort hotel, while the bags are transported and taken straight to the hotel room. When the vacation is over, guests and the bags are transported from the Disney Resort hotel back to the airport. - The Old Key West Village Pool Slide will be closed for refurbishments from January 5 through January 23, 2009. For Guest enjoyment, Old Key West Village Pool will continue to operate during this timeframe; only the Pool Slide will be closed. The other pools at Disney's Old Key West will also be open for enjoyment.

Featuring palm trees, a lighthouse, and Victorian-era decor, Disney's Old Key West Resort recreates the beach town feel of the Florida Keys and is approximately 20 miles from Orlando International Airport. Local attractions include Disney's Magic Kingdom® Theme Park and Epcot®. Transportation to Walt Disney World® Resort areas is available by ferry and bus.
Guests of this resort may enjoy a variety of recreational activities. Sailboats, pedal boats, canoes, mini-motorboats, and more are available for rent at the marina. Active guests can play a few games on the volleyball, basketball, and tennis courts (tennis equipment available for rent), ride a bike, or go for a run on the resort's scenic trail. The R. Beach Recreation Department features a fitness center, sauna, and massage services. Four heated pools, a children's pool, and whirlpools are located throughout the resort. Children will find amusement on the playgrounds, in the arcade, or with a board game in the Community Hall. Additional amenities include a shuffleboard court, babysitting services, laundry facilities, laundry services, and parking. Dining options include seafood and American favorites in Olivia's Cafe, and snacks at Good's Food to Go.
Studio (376 sq ft) and one bedroom villas (942 sq ft) are available. Guest rooms feature coffeemakers, irons and ironing boards, hairdryers, safes, cable TV, high-speed Internet access (for a fee), kitchens, microwaves, and refrigerators.
With Extra Magic Hours, guests staying at a Walt Disney World® Resort have even more chances to experience the magic. Each day one of the Disney Theme Parks opens an hour early or stays open up to three hours after regular Park closing, so guests can enjoy easy access to select attractions - even the most popular ones.
