The Americas Best Value Inn, McPherson is conveniently located just off I-135 at Exit 60, US Highway 56. With its location just an hours drive northwest of Wichita and a little over two hours southwest of Topeka, McPherson is a great stopover point on the way to or through to ones final destination. Its an ideal place whether ones interests lie in railroad history, architectural gems, or even antique automobile restoration. In September, McPherson hosts its annual Scottish Festival and Highland games. There are also plenty of athletic, cultural, and educational events sponsored by the two hometown colleges, McPherson College and Central Christian College. Be sure to come in May for McPherson Colleges car show, full of breathtaking automobile restorations. Along with clean, comfortable accommodations, one will enjoy free coffee, juice, and pastries in the lobby each morning. The hotel also offers free local calls and one free 10-minute long distance call within the US each night.
