The resort will undergo renovation from February 4 to May 23 (tentatively). During this period, parts of the resort will hear some construction noise associated with the HVAC system and painting renovation during normal business hours on weekdays only and will experience limited outages of the system in their hotel or condo unit. A front walkway concrete renovation will re-route guests going to the lobby area through the resort's library entrance.

Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort is located in the historic coastal Village of Carlsbad, steps from the beach, and approximately 30 miles from San Diego Airport. This location is also three miles from Legoland, 30 miles from the San Diego Zoo and Sea World, and 50 miles from Disneyland.

Hotel amenities include the garden area, heated pool, spa, children's playground, fitness center, and activities staff. Beach equipment and bicycles are available for guests' use. Fidel's Mexican Restaurant, the Daily News Cafe, and Linda's Frozen Yogurt Shop are independently owned but on site.
