The Sanderling Resort & Spa on North Carolina?s Outer Banks touches the shores of both the majestic Atlantic Ocean and the serene Currituck Sound. Located near Duck, NC, The Sanderling with its luxurious spa overlooking the sound is the Outer Banks? only true resort. Guests enjoy a 12-acre retreat with 95 luxury accommodations, a full service spa and fitness center and a conference center. The resort?s 60 seat award winning gourmet restaurant, The Left Bank, offers French-inspired contemporary American cuisine and fine wines with spectacular views of the water. The Lifesaving Station Restaurant, housed in a restored 1899 Coast Guard Station, features contemporary American cuisine, a casually elegant grill-room atmosphere and a private room for special dinners. Three cottage style inns and four Station Bay Cottages house the resort?s rooms and suites. Most face the ocean or sound and all have wet bars and generous porches. The public areas in each inn are individually decorated with a rare collection of fine wildlife art and sculpture.
